KLAS Motorsports and Whelen Engineering Continue Partnership – Andy Jankowiak to Drive Whelen Entry in 2026 ARCA Menards Series Events

In their first season of existence in 2023, KLAS Motorsports teamed up with Whelen Engineering as partners for the team’s entry with driver Andy Jankowiak in the ARCA Menards Series. That relationship will continue in 2026 with the return of the historic racing sponsor to the team.

“There are so many reasons why Whelen is important to us,” said KLAS Motorsports Managing Partner Andy Seuss. “It’s exciting to have their faith in us because of their roots in Modified racing. We have watched racecars with their iconic red and white paint schemes for years. To be associated with that and everybody there is neat. Racing runs deep in that company. So many legends of the sport have been associated with Whelen.”

“Whelen has been a partner of ours since KLAS Motorsports started our adventures in ARCA,” said Jankowiak. “It is a lot of fun working with them and it is an honor to be one of the Whelen Motorsport Athletes. It is a privilege to work with Peter Tiezzi, Geoff Marsh, Sonny Whelen and all of the Whelen employees, to be a part of the same team as Ted Marsh and to represent their support of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.”

“We’ve never raced a season without them,” said Seuss. “They have been supporters since the beginning. Any time that you can continue a relationship like that is exciting. We can’t wait to get back to the racetrack with them and have some fun.”

The lineup of events that Whelen will be featured on the KLAS entry spans from a road course in New York state to a one-mile oval out west.

“Whelen will be on the car for all eight races that we have scheduled with Andy J,” said Seuss.  “We would like to add more as we seek partners and more funding through the off-season. We have committed to eight races at this point. Whelen will be a primary sponsor for four of those – Watkins Glen, Phoenix, Talladega and Chicago. They will also join us on the car at Daytona, Iowa and the Kansas races.”

The KLAS Motorsports team is currently putting together the final details for their 2026 campaign. There will be more announcements about their plans, schedule, driver lineup and sponsors lineup in the coming weeks.

The ARCA Menards Series will visit Daytona International Speedway on February 14, 2026. The race will kick off the 2026 season and will be televised on Fox.
