KLAS MOTORSPORTS COLLABERATES WITH GLEN REEN FOR LIME ROCK – Massachusetts Modified Racer to Wheel the #73 in ARCA Menards Series Lime Rock Park 100

KLAS Motorsports planned out a healthy schedule of ARCA Menards Series events for the 2025 season with driver Andy Jankowiak driving the #73 entry. Their focus was on quality and not quantity, which led to four top ten finishes in six starts so far for the team.

This weekend’s Lime Rock Park 100 in Connecticut was not on their schedule. However, a collaboration with longtime Modified racer Glen Reen of Wilbraham, Massachusetts has changed that plan.

Reen will drive the #73 NewWaveHome.com entry for KLAS Motorsports in Saturday’s Lime Rock ARCA race. The car has been prepared in the North Carolina shops of the team. Jankowiak will return to the seat of the #73 when their planned schedule for the season resumes later this summer.

“We didn’t have Lime Rock on our schedule as part of our original plan,” said KLAS Motorsports managing partner Andy Seuss. “During our summer break, we were planning on catching up with work on the cars, cleaning up the hauler and things like that. Then this opportunity to team up with Glen came up and we said, ‘let’s do it!’”

Reen, Seuss and Jankowiak share a common bond as they are all veteran drivers of Modified racing in the Northeast. That connection led to this deal being put together.

“It’s a dream come true,” said Reen. “When you get a bunch of Modified racers together, it’s always a good time.”

“For the past week or so, we have been thrashing on the car to get it ready,” said Seuss. “Glen brings a lot of resources. That will help us help ourselves in the future. We are looking ahead to Watkins Glen when Andy J will be back in the car.

“We are just really excited to see the KLAS Motorsports banner out there for another race. Glen has a little bit of a home track advantage. We have a lot of reasons to look forward to Lime Rock. It should be a positive experience.”

Although Reen is primarily known for his Modified career and a pair of starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, he also has road racing experience in both a spec Miata and in the NASCAR ARCA East Series. It is a discipline of racing that he really enjoys.

“I love road racing,” said Reen. “It might not be as much of a spectator sport, but it is a fun driver’s sport. In oval track racing, you have four corners. In road racing, you have eight… ten… twelve… fifteen… depending on what track you are on. You have elevation changes and a lot more going on.  So I’m really looking forward to having fun playing with one of these cars.”

NewWaveHome.com will be the primary sponsor of the #73 at Lime Rock.  Dak’s Market and Acacia Energy will also appear on the car for the race.

The Lime Rock 100 is scheduled to start at 4pm ET and will be televised live on Fox Sports 1 and on the Fox Sports App.

RACER ANDY JANKOWIAK TO THROW OUT FIRST PITCH AT BUFFALO BISONS BASEBALL GAME – Friday is Race Night at Sahlen Field and Jankowiak Will be Ready

Sports fans in Western New York have plenty to cheer for – the Buffalo Bisons baseball team, the Buffalo Bills NFL team, the Buffalo Sabres NHL team, the Buffalo Bandits lacrosse team and racecar driver Andy Jankowiak.

Jankowiak races in the NASCAR ARCA Menards Series at facilities from Daytona International Speedway in Florida to Phoenix International Raceway in the Arizona desert.  Once a season, the Buffalo native gets to race in his homestate at the Watkins Glen International road course.  This week, he will be even closer to his hometown fans as he will appear at the Buffalo Bisons’ Racing Night – where he will throw out the first pitch for the game.

The appearance will take place on Friday evening at Sahlen Field when the Bisons take on the Charlotte Knights with a starting time of 6:35pm ET.

“I’ve always been a sports guy,” said Jankowiak. “I’ve always loved the Bisons, so this is quite an achievement for me. It is such an honor. To be able to throw out the first pitch for the Bisons is something that I never even dreamed that I’d be doing when I was growing up and spending all of my Saturday nights at the racetrack.

“The atmosphere at these games is amazing. Western New York has diehard sports fans.  Through the years, their interest hasn’t always been in racing.  That just didn’t get everyone’s attention.  But it’s changing.  So many fans from Western and Central New York come out for the NASCAR races at Watkins Glen.  Racing is alive and well here and maybe we can gain some new fans and shed some light on what goes on at Watkins Glen as we meet fans at Sahlen Field.”

Jankowiak is on a hot streak in the ARCA Menards Series.  He currently sits fourth in the standings and finished fifth last weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

“It’s awesome to be a NASCAR guy going to the ballpark,” said Jankowiak.  “I’m just so blessed to be living my dream and racing all over the country with KLAS Motorsports.”

In addition to Jankowiak, several members of the KLAS Motorsports team will be in attendance for the Bisons game.

“We are bringing about 100 people…maybe more…to the game,” said Jankowiak. “We will be right there to cheer on the Bisons!”

With the opportunity also comes a little bit of pressure as Jankowiak cross trains.

“I just don’t want to embarrass the racing world,” said Jankowiak.  “I just want to throw it over the plate.  I’ve been practicing and hopefully that’s enough.”

And if Jankowiak stuns the sporting world with his baseball appearance, will he have to make a choice on what sport he devotes his future to?

“You know, I might just have to do a Deion (Sanders) Double!” laughed Jankowiak.  “I can race on Fridays, get on a plane and pitch that weekend.  Pitchers don’t pitch for every game, so maybe that is something that can be done.”

Janowiak has a weekend off from the ARCA Menards Series, but will return to action with the #73 KLAS Motorsports team on Friday, June 6th at Michigan Speedway.  The Henry Ford Health 200 is scheduled for 6pm ET.  It will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 and on the Fox Sports App.

KLAS MOTORSPORTS AND ANDY JANKOWIAK FINISH FIFTH AT CHARLOTTE – #73 Team Paid Tribute to Fallen Heroes on Memorial Day Weekend

It was an eventful General Tire 150 ARCA Menards Series event for Andy Jankowiak and the #73 KLAS Motorsports team on Friday evening at Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC). Hard work, a solid team effort and skill from behind the steering wheel were the right recipe though as Jankowiak recorded a solid fifth-place result in the race.

Jankowiak qualified eighth and marched into the 100-lap race from the fifth row.  He then avoided contact with the wall at a tricky track, survived a wild restart where several cars around him wrecked, benefitted from a few quick pit stops by the KLAS Motorsports crew and recorded his fourth top ten finish out of five starts so far in 2025.

The #73 car handled very differently depending on where Jankowiak could run on the track.  It was usually quick in the bottom and middle grooves. Navigating the high line was a bit of a handful though.

“The car went loose on as the runs got longer there,” said Jankowiak. “It just couldn’t keep in on the track in the second groove in turns three and four.  We were losing so much time there.”

On lap 38, Jankowiak restarted the race in the lead pack when Cleetus McFarland had a problem spinning his worn tires from the outside front row.  That led to a big wreck that Jankowiak narrowly avoided.

“We survived the restart crash,” said Jankowiak.  “We knew that was going to be a little bit hairy with some cars on used tires and some cars on new tires.  I give credit to Cleetus McFlarland who ran in the top ten there. It was his first restart on the front row and he’s human.  I don’t know what exactly happened, but I knew that it was going to be exciting, and it was.”

Later in the race, the KLAS Motorsports team used pit strategy to have new tires for Jankowiak on the car for its final run.  The fresh rubber was good enough for Jankowiak to move from tenth to sixth in one lap, but not quite enough to chase down the race lead.

“Our race came down to how we went on that last run there,” said Jankowiak. “It was about survival.  We hung on. We thought for a minute there with the fresh tires that we would have a chance to fire off.  I was probably beating the car up pretty bad wanting to go and I think that I made the tires mad.”

For the Charlotte race, the #73 car featured the K.I.A. Memorial Roadmarch on the lower quarter panels.  This event was started by United States Army Sergent Major Jason Jaskula to memorialize his fallen friend Christopher Dill.

Dill was a Staff Sergent in the Army Reserves and a firefighter in Buffalo, New York. He was killed in combat on April 4, 2005 during Operation Iraqi Freedom. After Dill’s death, Jaskula discovered that those killed in action had no regular public event in Western New York to honor those killed in action. In November, 2012, Jaskula walked 22 kilometers while carrying 22 pounds of rocks in a rucksack.  Each rock displayed the name of a Western New York service member who had been killed in action while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan. That led to the creation of the K.I.A. Memorial Roadmarch, which will take place on August 16th at Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park, New York.

Showing support for this event with a special red, white and blue paint scheme on their #73 was appropriate for the team on Memorial Day weekend.  Jankowiak was thankful for his team owners doing that.

“I owe a big thank you to (team principals) Kevin Lapierre and Andy Seuss,” said Jankowiak. “They are giving a lot back and they are making a lot of people happy.  We have veterans who join us (every race) and our team really puts forth that effort.”

Acadia Energy and Whelen were the primary sponsors of the #73 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  DaK’s Markets, Automotive Consultants of Ithaca, Florida Safety Systems, Yukon Creek Sportsman Club and Rotti Transport were among the marketing partners for the event.

The ARCA Menards Series returns to action on Friday, June 6th at Michigan Speedway.  The Henry Ford Health 200 is scheduled for 6pm ET.  It will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 and on the Fox Sports App.

KLAS Motorsports Pays Tribute to K.I.A. Memorial Roadmarch at Charlotte ARCA Menards Series Race – Andy Jankowiak and the #73 Team Will Remember Fallen Heroes on Memorial Day Weekend

Racing in the ARCA Menards Series is an enjoyable activity for the #73 KLAS Motorsports team and driver Andy Jankowiak. They enjoy and appreciate the support from the fans at the track, the fans who watch on television and the fans who follow along with the team on social media.
As the ARCA Menards Series heads to Charlotte Motor Speedway this week, the team and the driver would like to shift that support and focus elsewhere. This weekend is Memorial Day weekend and it’s time to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the United States of America – along with their families and fellow troops who mourn their loss.
For the General Tire 150 at Charlotte, the team will feature the K.I.A. Memorial Roadmarch on the #73 car.
Memorial Roadmarch.
Adam Brown served as a First Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. He now, along with his son Kyle, works as a crew member on the #73 KLAS Motorsports team.
“This means a lot to me,” said Brown. “I am honored to be a small piece of this amazing team. The opportunity to bring nationwide awareness to the K.I.A. Roadmarch is huge for me. Anytime that we are able to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, especially our Heroes from NY who died while serving in Afghanistan and Iraq, it’s an incredible experience. Having fought in both Iraq and Afghanistan, I understand how much losing a brother while in combat can affect the rest of someone’s life. I believe we begin to heal by honoring and remembering their sacrifice for us and this country.”
This year’s K.I.A. Memorial Roadmarch takes place on August 16th at Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park, New York.
Acadia Energy and Whelen will be the primary sponsors of the #73 Charlotte Motor Speedway. DaK’s Markets, Automotive Consultants of Ithaca, Florida Safety Systems, Yukon Creek Sportsman Club and Rotti Transport of Buffalo, NY are all among the marketing partners for the event.
The ARCA Menards Series General Tire 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is scheduled for 6pm ET on Friday, May 23rd. It will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 and on the Fox Sports App.

KLAS Motorsports Finishes Sixth at Kansas Speedway – Andy Jankowiak Has a Solid Race to Collect Another Top 10 Finish

The #73 KLAS Motorsports KLAS Motorsports team had a solid outing in the Tide 150 ARCA Menards Series race at Kansas Speedway on Friday night. Andy Jankowiak qualified eighth and finished sixth in the #73 Dak’s Market/Whelen Toyota.
The team was able to gather information on Friday morning as NASCAR allowed competitors to take part in an optional test and practice session. Jankowiak logged laps in both the primary and backup KLAS Motorsports entries and the young team filled their notebooks with valuable data to help with their growth. Jankowiak placed both entries within the top 10 of the speed charts of the session.
Later in the day, Jankowiak qualified eighth in the 26-car field. He advanced his position within the first few laps and ran in the top five throughout most of the event. On the final restart of the race, which actually took place in overtime, Jankowiak fought a tough battle with Lavar Scott for the fifth position. Scott edged out Jankowiak by less than one-tenth of a second to take the position.
With the finish, Jankowiak and the #73 team maintain their ranking of fourth in the ARCA Menards Series point standings.
DAK’s Market and Whelen were the primary sponsors of the #73 at Kansas Speedway. Automotive Consultants of Ithaca, Florida Safety Systems and Yukon Creek Sportsman Club are all among the marketing partners for the event.
The next race for the ARCA Menards Series is the General Tire 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. That event is scheduled for 6pm ET on Friday, May 23rd. It will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 and on the Fox Sports App.

KLAS Motorsports Heads to Kansas with Extra Momentum – Andy Jankowiak Led Laps at Talladega, Is Now Ready to Take the Next Step

The growth of KLAS Motorsports continues as Andy Jankowiak recently put the #73 out front at Talladega
Superspeedway (AL) to lead their first laps in ARCA Menards Series competition. This week, KLAS and
Jankowiak return to Kansas Speedway where they previously tied their record for a best career finish
together in ARCA competition – fourth. The team has now finished in that position three times – at
Talladega last week, at Kansas last September and at Michigan in 2023.
It’s a good time to raise that bar even higher and Friday night’s Tide 150 at Kansas might be the perfect
place to do it.
“I don’t know that the track owes us one, but we would sure like to go get a victory there,” said Jankowiak.
“We were strong there and had a chance last year. We are getting even better on the intermediate tracks.
We are at a point now where if we can stay in the top few cars and make the right moves, we are capable
of sneaking a victory.”
With Talladega fresh in their minds, the team is even more pumped up than usual heading to Kansas.
“It was definitely encouraging, and we are all chomping at the bit to finish it off and get a win,” said
Jankowiak. “We have been in the mix a few times now and we really want to get that monkey off our
back and go win.”
DAK’s Market and Whelen will be the primary sponsors of the #73 at Kansas Speedway.
Automotive Consultants of Ithaca, Florida Safety Systems and Yukon Creek Sportsman Club are all
among the marketing partners for the event.
The Tide 150 ARCA Menards Series event at Kansas Speedway is scheduled for 8pm ET on Friday, May
9th. It will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 and on the Fox Sports App.
